The Q by The Orbit Lounge Patron Code of Conduct

Welcome to The Q, a space dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all members of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies. In order to maintain a positive atmosphere for everyone, we ask all patrons to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

• Respect and Inclusivity:

  •     Treat every individual with dignity and respect, regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, ability, or any other characteristic.

  •     Use inclusive language and be mindful of the diverse identities present in the space.

•     Consent and Boundaries:

  •     Respect personal space and boundaries. Obtain explicit consent before engaging in any physical contact with others.

  •     Be attentive to verbal and non-verbal cues to ensure that you are not making others uncomfortable.

•     No Discrimination or Harassment:

  •     Discrimination, harassment, or any form of hate speech will not be tolerated. This includes offensive language, gestures, or speech/actions targeted at any individual or group.

•     Dress Code:

  •     Express yourself through your attire, but avoid attire that could be offensive or inappropriate.

•     Intoxication and Substance Use:

  •     Drink responsibly and know your limits. Excessive intoxication may lead to disruptive behavior and is not conducive to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment.

  •     The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on the premises.

•     Bathroom Etiquette:

  •     Respect all Satellite Hotel rules and regulations regarding usage of bathrooms and amenities within Satellite property. Respect the privacy and dignity of others using the facilities.

•     Photography and Social Media:

  •     Ask for consent before taking pictures of other patrons. Respect the privacy of individuals who may not want to be photographed.

  •     Be considerate when sharing images on social media to protect the privacy of fellow patrons.

•     Reporting Incidents:

  •     If you witness or experience any behavior that goes against this Code of Conduct, please report it to our staff immediately. We are committed to addressing and resolving issues promptly and discreetly.

•     Feedback and Suggestions:

  •     We encourage open communication. If you have any suggestions for improvement or concerns, feel free to share them with our management. Your feedback helps us create a better experience for everyone.
